It’s evening here now. I’m still full from breakfast with the add-ons!
Two weeks from today I’m going to have bloodwork done at the health care center. Among other things it’s to check if the synthetic thyroid meds need adjusting.

Hi everyone!
It’s a new Monday morning here now.
I did the more advanced weigh-in twice, before breakfast. The fat was mass 18.8% (yesterday 19.7%) and the lean mass was 37.2% (yesterday 36.9%). These numbers are most likely not precise. I’ll keep measuring daily and see where it goes, for fun.

Something I wrote earlier today needs a correction.
The “three bites (30 ml) of egg white” for breakfast and lunch today was actually 29 g of dried egg white powder, dissolved in a glass of water. I call it my home-made protein drink without carbohydrates (sugar) or hydrocarbons (fat).

Hi everyone!
It’s evening here now.
I’ve got beautiful dots to look at.
So far so good!
My weight at the moment is 51.6 kg / 113.8 bs / 17.2 bmi.
This means that tomorrow I’ll add five bites to my breakfast and five bites to my lunch.
I’m looking forward to it!
Now I’ll brush my teeth and enjoy the calm.

Hi everyone!
It’s mid day here now. I’ve had a five bite lunch, the same as breakfast. It was good!
My weight before lunch was 52.2 kg / 115 lbs / 17.4 bmi.
My weight after lunch was 52.4 kg / 115.5 lbs / 17.5 bmi.
Just like after breakfast, that’s where I want to be!

It’s Sunday morning here now.
My weight before using the bathroom was 52.6 kg / 116 lbs / 17.6 bmi.
After using the bathroom my weight was 52.1 kg / 114.9 lbs / 17.4 bmi.
I’ll have another five bite day today, and tomorrow I’ll be back in maintenance.

Hi everyone!
It’s the evening now, almost seven hours past my lunch. My weight is down to 52.8 kg.
I think that it’s possible that tomorrow morning I’ll be back at my goal weight again, 52.5 kg. That’s on one day of the five bite diet, and one day after a fairly big eating episode. It’s encouraging! I underestimate how quickly the weight drops…[Read more]

Hi everyone!
It’s four hours after breakfast, and I’ve had lunch: overnight oats with yoghurt and jam.
It was a one minute, unspectacular five bite meal, which felt comforting to me.
I notice how much I enjoy the calm feeling of being on the five bite diet again.

I have 9 days to go until I weigh-in and sticking to my plan.

Jennifer – yes I agree salad is a tricky one just to take 5 bites from. If you really crave a salad, perhaps next time put it in between 2 slices of buttered toast. This will make the 5 bites more satisfying
Eat what you love and leave the rest !
