I recall from one of the chats that Dr. Lewis offers free membership to slimming station if we reach goal. (I believe you need to show yourself on camera as proof).

Sounds like a plan. Maybe I feel good and I don’t take a break. The people I know who have been successful with this did take short breaks. During holidays or Vacations and such. I want to tell them but my husband might think it’s a crazy thing to do. I certainly don’t, as I’ve tried everything and I’m about to get weight loss surgery anyway if I can’t get the weight off for myself. I know they’ll notice but I planned to just say “I’m eating less,” while counting secretly lol. So the ten bites is NOT recommended?

Yes. That’s fine. The 5BD is just a tool. A tool that guarantees quick weight loss in as comfortable a manner as possible. If you need to take a break, fine. But then you’ll have to go through a few days of hunger as you turn your hungerstat back down to 5 on your next leg of the journey.

Is it normal to lose say 10-15lbs and take a short break doing intermittent fasting and maintaining for a short time (maybe a week or two) then get back to 5BD? This is how I’d like to do it.

Hello. Just as the title says… can I do 10 bites in one meal if I prefer? I don’t think I want people to notice I’m doing this diet and my husband and kids will notice if I eat 5 bites for dinner, but 10 maybe not.

Hello All,
According to Dr. Lewis I should be able to lose the last 15 pounds in the next 2 weeks.
Hopefully my experience/information will be useful to those in their final stretches.
I am only 5 feet tall, come from a family that struggles to keep weight down, all my hormones have dumped, and I’m over 45.
So I may be a really good test case.

Honestly, Elizabeth, I would be THRILLED with you achieving a BMI of 19. It might also be the perfect weight for you. But we won’t know that for sure until you get there.

At one point Dr. Lewis recommended this weight for me.
However, this would put me at a BMI of around 17—-way too low, and I’m struggling as it is.
I think I would be satisfied around BMI of 19, definitely not there yet but probably easier to get to and sustain.
