  • For the curious:

In my sprint to the finish line I had 1 teaspoon of chocolate per meal. It was a two day sprint, on March 27th and March 28th. This was the third time around of my sprinting to the finish line, and hopefully the last. It took me a month to get from my first attempt to my third, from February 27th to March 28th. All in all with…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

    Here is another update monologue.

Before lunch I brushed my teeth and read a couple of the research summaries.

    Then I had lunch:

six teaspoons of chocolate mixed with chopped salted peanuts, peanut snacks, and cookie crumbles.

It felt like quite a big meal to me.

I enjoyed the mix of salty and sweet, and the crunchy with the…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

This morning my weight has dropped a little bit again: 49.6 kg / 109.3 lbs / 16.6 bmi.

Today I’m adding another half of a bite to my lunch and dinner, like I anticipated.

The curve of my bmi chart  is looking calm and smooth:

I’ve had a sip of water, a multivitamin capsule, and a vitamin d-capsule for breakfast, along with a…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

Another little text monologue here again.

I read for a few minutes about the research referred to in the book, and then I had my dinner. It was enjoyable.

My weight after dinner tells me that tomorrow will indeed warrent an increase in my meal volume again, like I had anticipated. I feel happy about the meal volume increase, and I…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

Clearly I should have called this thread “updates” and not “weekly updates” like I did.

Still fearing that my mind could spin out with eating, I read a bit about the studies at the end of the book before having lunch.

I’m happy with my lunch! The chopped peanuts added to the taste and texture of the chocolate. I’m looking forward…[Read more]

  • Here is an overview. With all of the ups and downs, I’m amazed that I still made it to my goal. Food tantrums, as I like to call it, the fat-mass hi-jacking the brain inducing ravenous hunger. I first thought that I would need to be perfect, and I doubted that I would succeed, as I’m well aware that I’m not perfect. Even the imperfect dieters can…[Read more]

  • Here is an illustration of my first, second, and third attempt at a smooth and balanced glide into maintenance.

I have a good feeling about this third attemt. The curve shape looks better.

  • Hi there everyone!

I will increase my food volume again today. I’ll have the chocolate and also add a generous pinch of chopped peanuts for lunch and dinner today. I feel more courage to add a little bit of something else in the snack…[Read more]

  • Thank you all for your kind words and motivation!

  • Hi again everyone!

At work today I was cutting up a bbq club sandwich into bite size pieces for a client. Meanwhile my client was eating french fries and small bites using her fork. After I had cut everything that needed to be cut using a separate knife and fork, I tasted what was on the fork, which was more or less a mix of the bbq sauce,…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

    It’s now past lunch time.

I read about the first research text on asthma and then I had my lunch.

It was clear to me that I enjoyed the slightly bigger lunch volume.

So far nothing bad has happened.

    I’m looking forward to dinner!

All the best until next time.

    :-)

  • Hello again!

I’ve been shopping for food, mostly for pantry food and fridge food, and a few items for the freezer. Today after work I was packaging lamb cabbage rolls in cling wrap and stored them away in the freezer. Yes, I by some miracle found the last few empty spaces in my freezer…

Anyway, after the containers were empty, I tasted a few…[Read more]
