Shiela!
I SO LOVE to hear that determination and commitment. You KNOW this is the diet that will work for you–now we just need to find a way to keep you focused. But the biggest obstacle–getting your own mind in the game–you’ve already conquered. Great. Now just come here often and let me and everyone else here keep you focused all the way…[Read more]

Oh No! I’m afraid–but I don’t know how–that I may have been the culprit. I’m SO sorry, Robin, but after I responded to one of your posts in this thread last night everything turned grey. I have to think that somehow, someway I must have pushed the wrong button and deleted your posts. I’m so sorry!

I agree guys for now I am doing 5b everyday. I was thinking of ways to maintain after I am 115. I think the 5b with the snickers is the best way for me to stay on track now and when I am 115. You are right Judi right now a burger and onion rings does sound like a lot of food, I can’t wait to be on maintenance. 5bd with snickers works better then…[Read more]

Hey Skinny… Think about the process of getting to your desired weight. By then, your mindset will be so different than what it is now, that you will decide for yourself what works for you. In the several months that I stayed at a 50 pound loss, I discovered that I could eat a burger and onion rings one day, and then go back on 5 bites the…[Read more]

Better yet, do it EVERY DAY of the week, set your hungerstat so that you don’t have to dread those “fasting days”, and just finish this extraordinary project. Why put yourself through torture like that?

skinnysue replied to the topic Maintenance? in the forum The Slimming Station Diet 14 years, 4 months ago
There is a popular program where you pick two days a week, any day of the week that fits your schedule, where you either fast or eat very few calories in order to control you calorie intake for the week. The rest of the week you are careful of how much you eat but eat what you like. I was thinking of when I am thin I would try adding breakfast to…[Read more]

Hi Mini-I address this beginning on page 65. We are all of different sizes, different activity levels, different ages, different metabolisms. Hey… Keep posting..!
The first 3 days are SO HARD, so you need to find any way possible to keep you from eating… But being here, the book, (for me was DIET COKE)… but coffee… I promise that after the 3rd day is easier, then by the 5th or 7th is just NO HUNGER at all… then I guess is the mental challenge to keep focus for the long road… -
