I’m really working on improving my inner dialogue. I recently shared the book Coffee Self-Talk: 5 Minutes a Day to Start Living Your Magical Life, and it’s been so helpful. I know I need to get a handle on my thinking because it plays a big role in self-control.
I’m also learning to make small modifications when needed. I allowed myself two days…[Read more]

This week is a fresh start! We can do this! I’m learning that if I need to make small modifications here and there to stay on track and avoid completely falling off, then I’m going to modify!
Not giving up or throwing in the towel consistently will eventually lead to long-term wins!
Cheering everyone on!

Yes! Electrolytes! I just recently started them. I love this powder. I use just a little and not every day, but it feels like such a treat. It actually tastes like Jolly Rancher watermelon candy!

Thank you Dr. Lewis! That helps to know that this is normal. I am drinking lots of water now that I am eating less. I even enjoy drinking water more. I’ll include some electrolytes and of course COFFEE! Yay!

I get it! I failed big the next two times I tried the plan and then walked away from it. I stayed unhealthy. I stayed unhappy with myself. I continued to use food to medicate the stress away. I’m only five days in, but I’m seeing the transformation already. I feel less stressed and I feel hopeful again. Try to get that momentum going, and…[Read more]

It is Sunday here in Australia and even this morning I have eaten off plan. I also weighed in and I am basically starting again 🤦🏼♀️ I need to make a decision about what is more important. Eating the food I continue to eat or losing this weight. It really is that simple.

Indeed, Samantha! You are right back on track. You have to admit: it felt amazing to be all the way thin, didn’t it? Is that why you are back here? OK, losing weight might seem like an annoyance, but the end result is so spectacular that you’ll do whatever to get back there. Am I right?

Thank you all. The Malibu fires are burning across the valley, and we could see the flames easily last night, but they are still 10 miles away. The Alta Dena fire behind us is not a threat. So while the air is ashy, there is no concern that my house will be lost, thankfully. Thank you all for your concern.
