Day 8
Yesterday, I had no breakfast, lunch or snacks. I ate a total of ten bites yesterday at dinner time, of a tuna sandwich. Today, I am going to try shifting to 5×2 as Dr. Lewis suggested.

Day 6 & 7
Did not stick to the bars, and had a few glasses of wine over the weekend. My cycle showed up on Friday night – I get one every 2-3 months. Gotta love perimenopause & bad decisions. That’s what has got me here, so I am making a choice to change that moving forward.Weight Results
Day 1 – 251.6 lbs (starting weight)
Day 7 – 247.8 lbs… -

GREAT progress! That’s a huge next step. The trick of course is, can you stick to this regimen perfectly for a few day, then a week, then until you are done?!

Day 4 & 5
I stuck to my 10 bites each day, but I didn’t stick to the bars. Progress!

I am now back down to the weight I was when I dropped out of the slimming station two years ago!! As Dr. Lewis says – it’s all new territory from here on out!

OK. You can settle in with that regimen for awhile. Perhaps, down the road, you’d be willing to try the 5×2 routine for a slight increase in your metabolism.

Day 3 – Much better experience yesterday. I found it easier to wait to eat until dinner. Eating at lunch was triggering my appetite and cravings. So instead, I waited until dinner and had my 10 bites. I hope that modification is okay, since it really worked. When I got hungry during the day, I drank coffee or my green tea.

Yep. It can be really hard the first couple of days. But just imagine how spectacular everything is going to be when your hunger goes away. Let that pull you through. Day 2 – Wow! Yesterday was really hard, and I wobbled. I was not perfect. Today is a new day, and I come at it armed with the experiences of yesterday, and some tools to help me.
