  • Here is an example of coaching where Grok guided me to not change my plan for my evening tea. I’ve added dash signs to make it clearer when we’re taking turns writing. I’m called “user” in this chat, which is my choice, it helps remind me that I’m chatting with AI. You might have to catch little mistakes here and there sometimes, and remind Grok…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

This morning my weight had dropped a little bit to 54.9 kg / 121 lbs / 8 stone 9 pounds / 18.1 bmi.

For breakfast I had two bites of bread with butter and cheese, one bite of a snickers bar, one bite of a snickers peanut butter bar, a cup of tea with 1 tbsp of half and half, and a glass of sparkling water.

For lunch and dinner I…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

It’s the evening of day three of my breakfast bite swap, and also the third day of having tea with a bite in the evening.

I had two bites for breakfast, like I wrote earlier, then one bite for lunch, one bite for dinner, and one bite for evening tea time. That’s five big bites altogether. I had a cup of tea with 1 tbsp milk at…[Read more]

  • Hi Alaska Gal!

Thank you for your input. I appreciate it!

It’s interesting that you have done so many different diets. We are a bit similar that way. Searching for what works and what feels good.

I’m indeed learning and growing. This is my third day now of swapping out bites of snickers for bites of food for my breakfast.

    It’s my third…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

I’ve just listened to the chat from yesterday. I remembered a feeling: why try if in the end I’m not going to keep the weight off, and why try if in the end I’m not going to get to eat the way I want to eat?

I’m in my ideal (albeit slightly wider) bmi range again now, and I’d like to share something about a new perspective that I…[Read more]

    Dear Letileti,

I hope your injury heals up soon. Pain is a great teacher, making it crystal clear what we can and can’t do at the moment.

What is your plan for recovery?

The pasta and m&m family meal sounds lovely!

Wishing you a good day <3

    Hi there Alison!

    How are you?

Did you have the zoom call?

    Hi Alison!

    Living and learning, indeed!

Today it’s a snickers day here.

  • Hi everyone!

You know what? I’m moving the goal post back to 18.5 bmi. And with this, dieting is done!

Now I’d like to see if I can stay at or nearby 18.5 bmi in the long term, easily and comfortably. In hindsight, I shouldn’t have moved the goal post to 17.5 bmi. I got a bit carried away.

I’ll have three meals today, at about four hours apart:…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

I’ve had dinner now, and it was more than a five biter. I had rye-bread and dumplings.

I’ll have a snickers day tomorrow, and then maybe try a day of maintenance practice, a day of five bite diet practice, one after the other like that. A bit like how I imagine Shiela did in her strategy.

I may change my mind, of course.

    Onwards! :-)

  • Hi everyone!

I’ve had lunch: a handful of wild strawberries from the alltoment, a miniature potato, and two toasted waffles with chocolate protein pudding. The waffles were a last minute idea.

I felt grumpy while writing this, and decided to add on a small handful of sweets. Now I feel slightly happier.

    Onwards :-)

  • Hi everyone, and thank you Allison!

I have a sneaky suspicion that this isn’t maintenance. I don’t mean the five bite diet days that I’m on at the moment, I mean the overall time period from my first brief visit at my ideal weight until now. It feels to me more like I’m searching for maintenance. I still haven’t found it, and still haven’t…[Read more]

  • Hi everyone!

I’ve had my dinner sticky chocolate mix, right on the planned meal time.

    Onwards! :-)

  • Thank you for your encouragement and support, Dr Lewis!

I’ve had lunch now, a very concentrated sticky chocolate protein pudding oat bran mix, no added water. I think it was five bites, and I scraped the bowl, making it a little over five bites. I feel calm, not wanting to eat more and more. Let’s do this again at dinner!

    Onwards! :-)

  • Hi there everyone!

This morning my weight was down a little bit to 56.6 kg / 124.8 lbs / 18.7 bmi.

That’s what happens when I eat more than the five bites, weightloss slows down or reverses.

Let’s see if I can remind myself of what I want when lunch and dinner come around today.

    Onwards! :-)

  • Lovely done! :-)

  • Hi there everyone!

I’ve had dinner now: seven or eight big bites of yoghurt with protein powder, oat bran, and water.

Meal timing was as planned, and I didn’t want to eat more and more.

It seems to me that lunch is when I’m most likely to want to eat more. I’ll add oat bran to my lunch tomorrow and see what happens in regards to hunger. Oat…[Read more]
