  • Thank you Dr. Lewis and JulieNom!

    :-)

For my second meal, I also had a bit of the bread and wrap along with the seafood toppings and the chicken-bacon filling. It was a wonderful three tastes of food!

I feel quite astonished that I’m here now, in the swan lake, paddling away!

I will guard my focus so that I can stay here in Lake…[Read more]

  • Hi there!

A fascinating change has taken place in my body shape. I’ll illustrate below to the best of my ability.

My hips and thighs are now in one slender curve, whereas before where my hips were more a square form, and then my legs came out from that square form. I really like the new shape of my hips and legs!

    When I’m taking a bath…[Read more]

  • ps. I’m feeling really good and happy! Thank you Dr. Lewis for creating this program, thank you for the slimming station forum, for your book, for the chats, for your private messages, and for writing on the forum posts! Your support is stellar!

  • Hi there!

Now I’ve had my first meal of today.

    I didn’t want snickers.

I wanted what was on top of two sandwiches and inside a wrap:

1 teaspoon of shrimp, egg, mayonnaise, dill, and a squeeze of lemon (5 ml) – and it tasted good!

1 teaspoon of salmon, egg, mayonnaise, dill, and a squeeze of lemon (5 ml) – and it tasted good!

    1 teaspoon of…[Read more]

  • Phase 1 is done! From 169.5 lbs November 2nd, 2025, to 115.5 lbs today, March 13th, 2026.

Now my focus is a smooth landing and to stay at a 17.5 bmi. I will do it!

  • And thank you Alaska Gal! :-)

  • Yes! The swan is coming in for a landing at swan lake, in the wee hours of the morning of March 13th!

    Stay tuned! :-)

  • Alaska Gal, this is wonderful! So close – you can get this done quickly! And then you’ll have arrived! Great!

    :-)

  • Hi JulieNom!

The cold soggy delivery-food is part of learning what we want and not want. You’re doing it!

Good food that has gone bad is sad, I agree. That’s also something to learn for us! When good food goes bad, it’s no longer good, and we let it go.

    :-)

  • Thank you Allison!

Now I’m at 117 lbs, and my goal is 116 lbs, so by tomorrow morning it should be done!

I had a couple of minutes at my goal weight two weeks ago and then I got carried away with my joy for food. Now I have done four days of snickers to get back to my goal weight.

This time I’m going to ease into meaintenance, and not smash…[Read more]

  • I’ve now planned my meals for tomorrow, according to “I will do it” vs “I will try to do it” that I now implement.

After each food bite I’ve written “I will do it!”

    For example:

1 teaspoon of shrimp and mayo – I will do it!

1 teaspoon of egg and mayo – I will do it!

    And I will!

    :-)

  • *And now I realize that “I will do the same” is what I want to write instead of  I will “try” to do the same!

So – I will do it!

I have seen that Dr Lewis isn’t fond of the word “try” and I am learning to use the words “I will do it” instead.

    I will do it!

    That feels much better! :-)

  • I’ve been decluttering my space for some time, using the work of Dana K White.

She has come to see each space as a “container” and that it’s best to accept the limitations of each container.

I’m thinking of my stomach now as a container! And I don’t want to try and put more into it than it can hold comfortably. A bit like Madeleine wrote about…[Read more]

  • What a bummer with the pecan snickers. Now you know what you don’t like.

You can try having five different food bites for dinner and see if that is more satisfying.

Don’t “eat”, and instead, taste! (And wish me luck tomorrow as I will try to do the same!)

    Go JulieNom! :-)

  • Getting closer and closer! It’s all part of the learning.

I’ve taken a few falls over the past weeks, too. And it all counts – the good, the bad, and the ugly! :-)

Go again JulieNom! I can feel that you’re already up! One foot in front of the other as Dr. Lewis says!

  • I’m smiling JulieNom, that sounds like a lovely imagination!

    I’m looking forward to tomorrow!

Wouldn’t it be nice to make a smooth swan lake landing?

    I think so! :-)

  • Thank you Dr. Lewis!

I was so looking forward to the “swan landing” that yesterday evening felt like the night before Christmas!

This morning I woke up very early, thinking that it might be Christmas morning!

It turns out, it wasn’t. :-)

    Tomorrow then!

  • Swan incoming and possibly landing on the lake tomorrow.

  • Thank you JulieNom!

I think that the urge to buy food is a sign that our bodies are tapping into our stored hydrocarbon. I embrace the madness of it, as fighting nature is futile. I buy the food that I want and store it in my fridge, freezer, and pantry. It seems to soothe me, so I go with it. And perhaps that makes it easier for me to control…[Read more]

  • Hi JulieNom!

No coffee for me in the morning. Once in a blue moon I’ll have an espresso with water at a café.

The smaller the bites, the less hunger is activated, it seems for now. Try and see what happens!
