Your math sounds right. The trick is to stick to the program perfectly and see what you actually end up losing!

169 this morning. Back in the 160s. I checked my weight loss over night to see how much I am breathing out and it looks like I am only losing about half a lb over the course of 8 hours. So that’s 1.5 lbs per day which is 10.5 lbs per week. That’s 42 lbs in 4 weeks. If I am eating 4 oz of food per day that’s 28 oz per week and 112 oz per month…[Read more]

Good morning Peeps! Slept in — 8am after many early wake-ups. Added bonus to have shed that water weight. My plan continues with the focus being TRUST in myself and the process.

Day 1 (again)
I was at 172 this morning.
I think not eating in the morning helps quite a lot with hunger issues. I did not feel very hungry today at all. Was even considering skipping dinner but thought better of it. I had plain coffee for breakfast and even though I have not been a coffee drinker for most of my life, I am starting to enjoy the…[Read more]

I understand, but a big part of me wants to stress the point: NO EXCUSES. I know your issues seem to be really “important” and “life-altering,” but time will pass, and you will realize that food in no way altered the course or your issues. Find a way to deal with the issues without eating. Again, if you truly want to be thin, then make an un…[Read more]

Thank you Gayle! Yes that hit me hard when Laura said she was inspired by reading my journal whilst I was in the midst of being off the diet entirely. I think I am certainly motivated to not let other people down no matter how small the commitment. Anyways I got through last night pretty easily with some miso soup and a diet soda. When I remind…[Read more]

Well I managed to avoid all candy in the office, stores and at home. BUT – I had too many bites. I was celebrating with my son and his girlfriend on his FIRST JOB!! It was beyond exciting. I managed to avoid eating out at a restaurant and brought food home. I avoided all their goodies (including ice cream, and superbly decadent and addictive…[Read more]

Day 1/7
EEk! Too many bites last night. Not enough to gain “real” weight, but salt and volume showed up. Lesson learned. Excited for this challenge to encourage me to stay on track.
I just went on my phone and entered slimming station – clicked on this post and pressed the picture icon (last icon above or the one furthest from right) – it has a…[Read more]

Day 3
Starting weight 247
Current weight 241I decided to start an official journal to track my progress and stay accountable. Yesterday was rough, but I finally made it to day 3. Yay! I know I have a really long way to go. But I’m excited to be on the way. I have been so incredibly out of control with food. I’m doing 2 bars a day for now. Thank…[Read more]
