Unfortunately, no. It’s the way the system was written. BUT:
Change week 1 to reflect your current weight. Then change every other week, one by one, to that same weight. Then, as the weeks progress, update that week and all subsequent weeks with the new weight number, etc. Does that make sense?

Hi Mel. Welcome back! Now that the holidays are over, hopefully we can all get the weight off quickly. If you did it once, you can do it again. You are going to do great.
Good luck this week! -

I can’t seem to edit my 0 starting week and weight stats properly, no matter how hard I try. Is there an admin who can manually fix this for me so I may have a fresh start?

Hello Everyone. I was on the 5 bite diet years ago and was living my best life as I nearly reached my goal weight. I let life get in the way and years later am now at my highest weight again. I look forward to giving my best to make this work for good and also getting to know everyone.

That is amazing, Allison! Congratulations again! This diet really is fantastic. Despite messing up badly on New Year’s Eve, I still lost 10 lbs. this week. Talk about a powerful diet. Good luck to everyone in the New Year!

That’s a massive achievement Allison. Given the environments we live in of abundant food and all the misinformation. You must be feeling healthier and happier?
I can’t wait just to get back to a normal BMI.
I haven’t been there since I was 21?
Good luck this year 2024. We keep moving.

So I weighed in at 89.3 kg or 197 pounds.
Was a bit naughty last night and had a bottle of sparkling shariz. Nye. And 5 extra bites, but back on the horse today.

Allison replied to the topic -100 pounds down!! (-75 w/slimming station) in the forum The Slimming Station Diet 2 years ago
<p style=”text-align: left;”>I am sure you could do that. I didn’t stay on track for the whole time, so it is hard to say. I would estimate I stayed on plan 1/4 of the year to lose the -75.

Congratulations, Allison! That is absolutely amazing. If it’s ok to ask, how long did it take to lose the last 75 lbs (slimming station portion)? I was hoping to lose 85 lbs in the next 4 or 5 months, but I don’t know if that is a realistic goal. I hope it came off quickly for you.

Congratulations on the weight loss, Lynda! I agree with you. I also appreciate the freedom in this diet. However, like you, I have also always struggled with large bite size when I have done the 5-bite. I almost feel like I’m cheating because I am not counting bites at this point. I am just eating my two bars and that’s it. We will see…[Read more]

I have lost 6 pounds. But my weigh in day is Monday. So I’ll see where I’m at then. I struggle a bit with bit size. I know my amounts are between 2 -3 oz or 50-70 gm. I’ve weaned myself off milk in the coffee. What’s interesting about this diet is one of the Dr. guru’s in Australia, Dr Michael Mosley started advocating 5:2 diet of intermediate…[Read more]

Allison…So true! Unfortunately, with this diet, I have had a tendency to struggle with bite size. Technically, I lost 35 lbs in 2019 with 3 bites per meal. My bite size was massive, and I had a lot of difficulty controlling it, so I ended up going down to 3 bites. Due to these struggles, I am very nervous about transitioning from bars back…[Read more]

Great start! What are calories? Haha – just 5 bites x two! Don’t count calories or you will be tempted to allow yourself more bites!! The mentality is better if you just count 5 bites. That is from my own experience. If you count, you are likely to say I only had 380 calories so I can have 120 more calories… and then you eat more just to eat…[Read more]
