Right. I’m not sure where they are getting their numbers, but I suspect that they are gathering data from small, thin people (who aren’t very active). Your personal data is, of course, what is significant.

That’s what counts. Keep improving on the day before. You WILL fall into a perfect groove if you keep improving every day.

Lynda- I love that, people don’t often talk about unlocking more movement abilities or how their weight impairs their ability to move. I find that others do not prioritize it. But is seems like, as people lose weight, they start to really appreciate their body and what it is capable of doing movement-wise.

Interesting. So some of the Australian journalists are quote research that limits the carbon expenditure to 1.4 kg a week, I’ve already lost 2kg+ each week, which means this is incorrect.

Lol. Chloe I can relate to the gut not getting in the way. My knees have been constantly sore being overweight and for the last 2 weeks, the pain has gone away. So I thought I would attempt a difficult tiling job I’ve been avoiding. Nailed it, and my knees where only a little sore only because I wasn’t using knee pads. I’ve lost a lot of weight…[Read more]

I’m a grazier and had a slow start to this diet. I hadn’t read the book, and was just going on some blog that said you can do the 5 bites plus cerlery and carrot sticks. So I was doing that for a week, then I read the book, dropped the carrot and celery. So in a way I was lucky not have really suffered going cold turkey for 3 days and having bad…[Read more]

I felt sorry for our local Weight Watchers leader. She was doing really well, then a few months later I saw her back at her orginal size. It’s not good when you live in a small town. People are very judgemental.

Thank you both for the encouragement I really do want to be skinny, so I just need to be a five biter until I am there I guess I have to get out of the “failure mindset” where I think ok I failed I will start tomorrow or Monday, I just need to be on this diet until I am super skinny, if I at one meal eat more (which I hope will happen less and les…[Read more]

Day 26
Lunch + Dinner: 3 bites subway sandwhich, 2 bites cookie for both meals
And I trained some tumbling, I feel so light and fast tumbling around already, I can’t even imagine what it will be like when I drop another 10 lbs, let alone 30. I also was able to do a squat with my feet close together without falling over. My gut is no…[Read more]

Another meditation technique.
This one requires focusing in and labeling 3 different strands of inner sensory activity
“See” will note mental imagery
“Feel” will note emotional body sensations
“Hear” will note mental talk
As sensations arise in these three different categories, note them by mentally saying these labels with a gentle, matter…[Read more]

Very good. Dr. Meerman, with whom Dr. Brown was collaberating, emphasized that 5% of carbon is lost through urine; the other 95% through breathing. This was discussed in one of Meerman’s Ted Talks. Specifically, according to Dr. Meerman, the average weight of carbon in the CO2 blown out in a day is 740 gm; the weight of carbon lost through ur…[Read more]

I think that is important, Gayle. Create a challenge to live up to prior to going to social events. Plan out how you are going to execute a perfect 5-bite meal despite the social pressure to eat more. Plan it out, then execute it. I love it.
