Day 3 – Started my day with an ice blended black coffee with a couple pumps of sugar free caramel syrup. Lunch was a Thinkthin red velvet cake bar and a diet root beer. Dinner was a peanut butter Thinkthin bar and a couple glasses of “mojito” water (just water with lime and mint).
Today was a lazy day around the house. I tried to stay distracted…[Read more]

I did well yesterday. Not 5 bites but lost a pound. I live in east FL, so had to make hurricane arrangements, and now I’m in west FL. I’ve been doing ok with the diet today. I won’t be able to weigh myself until I get back. It will be SO nice to be at my goal weight by the end of this week

A few non-scale victories today. 1. I slipped on (easily) jeans that haven’t fit in a year. 2. When taking a hot bath, my belly stays under the water line.
Going strong still through the weekend. Had my Luna Lemon Zest lunch bar around 11. My Dinner bar will be ate around 4pm. No hunger since lunchtime. I’ve got this! Excited to chat with f…[Read more]

Thanks you guys!
<p style=”text-align: left;”>@drlewis – Same guy. My husband and I never finalized the divorce and ended up back together a few years ago. Problem is I never did rebound from the weight gain though. He loves to cook and often uses food to show his love, so dealing with that will probably be my biggest obstacle. However, I know…[Read more] -

Thanks for the story, Becca! And great job on your first day!
Was it your ex-husband or new husband that said you can’t five bite tomorrow? Why did he say that? Do YOU think you can stick to the program tomorrow (today)? Are you set on proving him wrong!

I love that! I find having to cook for my son so tough on a diet, especially when I’ve made a bad habit out of tasting things while I cook. 😬 Great idea making a simple dinner without all the tempting smells!

Thanks, Controlit. I appreciate the warm welcome.
I’m betting $500 on my wager, which I’m paying in monthly installments. That makes sense about the Healthy Wage rules. It’s CYA legalese to prevent people gaming the system and to reduce their liability should anyone take drastic measures to win their bet. Fortunately, they only require…[Read more]

Bar Challenge Day 5 of 49
I did it! I had a moment this evening though, where I was thinking of what I was going to make my son for dinner, and almost ordered take out for us both. I was tired, hungry and mentally fatigued.
I think what saved me was pausing to think about how I would feel the next day. And decided it wasn’t worth it. I…[Read more] - Load More
