Also, when things are slow, this is a great opportunity for you to work one-on-one with me and with those here who have had amazing success and are very inspirational. We may not be many, but we are powerful!

Welcome to the program!
There are about 5 of us who post fairly consistently, and Dr L is always very responsive. Usually something new to read each day. When the forums are slow, I enjoy reading through the old posts for tips and encouragement. Or watching the old videos in the archives.

Bar Challenge, Day 9/49
Things are going pretty well. I had a craving on Monday evening that I couldn’t kick, for eggs, so I ate 2 hardboiled eggs. That was probably more than 5 bites, so hopefully it didn’t wreak havoc on my mini goal this week. Been all bars since then. Trying to stick to a once a week weigh-in. I might sneak a peek on Satur…[Read more]

Welcome home! Hope you feel better soon. You have been doing great, so I am sure you can knock this out with regular food. I have been doing bars, to ensure my volume stays consistent. It does seem to help!

Day 6 – Today was my easiest day yet. It’s the first day when I didn’t feel constant hunger pains. The urge to eat only felt strong a few times throughout the day, but quickly subsided and for the most part I felt satisfied after having my 5 bites.
Breakfast was an ice blended black coffee with a few pumps of sugarfree chocolate Torani syrup for…[Read more]

A big well done to you Rachel for executing a fabulous weight loss for the last week. You are going to get there Rachel. Stay on course and it will show every week. Yes staying busy and just walking away from the food and trashing it too. I am learning to put food at the bottom of my priority list and concentrate on finishing tasks, getting…[Read more]

Day 4 – My sleep last night was rough. Had irritating hunger pains which made it hard to get a deep sleep for the first half of the night. Then I woke up this morning with some cramping pain in my stomach, but it quickly subsided after I got out of bed. I have to say I felt great after getting dressed and realizing that a pair of shorts I wore…[Read more]

Yes. Being able to accomplish your greatest lifetime goal–achieving perfect weight–overrides any other calamities that might be affecting your life. I think the excitement of accomplishing this feat enables you to plow forward despite all the stress and inconveniences of the hurricane. Great job!!
