It’s a lot to gain in 1 week–too much for sure–but it’s a great learning experience. As you said, it just wasn’t worth it. And all the food you ate wasn’t going anywhere. You can have more of it today, if you want. So it is NEVER worth eating extra just to eat extra.
So, spend the next day or two resetting your hungerstat to 5, and get bac…[Read more]

HI R Sikes! Yes, we have had members on this site who have lost over 100 pounds. You can look at the B&A’s on this site and see some of them. You will also find their stories in some of the earlier chats. But YOU will be the next one, right? It starts today, and hopefully it ends in just a few months. Are you up for it? Also, be sure you ta…[Read more]

Now more than ever, Tao, you need to follow through and finish this journey. I think we can cure your DM, and can get your CHF under much better control. I don’t know the particulars of your case, but I would bet that when you cross the finish line you will be on a fraction of what you currently take, and feel 1000% better! Let’s do this!

I describe this in pretty good detail in the first chat I gave a year or two again. Maybe you can join me at my next chat and I can go over this in more detail. Sound good?

Right Barbie. And this whole journey is a learning process. You will learn how to control physical hunger, mental hunger, and how much better life is when you are thin. The trick, as always, is to barrel your way to the finish line at all costs. THEN Stage 2 begins, and your life is going to be spectacular!
For now, when you get those ove…[Read more]

Absolutely. My only recommendation is this: after chewing the gum, don’t swallow it. Spit it out!

Awesome, you guys. Chelstems: OMG, you are going to HAWAII! Don’t even consider eating a 6th bite for either of your two meals, and if I’m you, those bites are SMALL at that. Do you know how amazing you feel sporting a new bikini on the beaches of Hawaii??!! This is the biggest no-brainer of all time. YES–you might be hungry from time to t…[Read more]

Oops. I certainly don’t want to lose anymore weight. I’ll have to fix that. Can you just see your stats and mine, or can everyone see everyone else’s stats?

I’ll be honest with you guys: I don’t know what you see. When you go to the weigh tracker, you see your stats–and mine? Could someone please tell me.
I just revised my data to more correctly reflect my weight loss. I did all of this some 15 years ago. I’ve been at 128 since.

Ann. Fine, but don’t throw out your scale. You will need it to finely titrate your weight when you hit your magic number. For now, just use the scale once a week. But when you are skinny, step on it frequently until you know and can feel how weight fluctuates about your ideal number. I can tell you what I weigh to the 0.5 pound sens…[Read more]

I love that: … Did you lose weight?
“I have no idea!”
My take is this: Everyone–women more than men, maybe–but everyone talks and obsesses about weight, because NO ONE is at their goal weight. EVERYONE has a single number where their body runs at it’s best. Mine is 127. That may go down a pound or so decades from now, but that’s my…[Read more]
