EXACTLY RIGHT, Gayle! You have the rest of your (now longer and much better) life to eat! AND … the food will taste better to boot!

Allan — I completely agree with Chloe and NeedingThis. They have given you really good advice. But the bottom line is that this program is all about you. Do YOU truly want to be thin? Then just do it. Bring your wife on board if SHE wants, but don’t let her words or her actions distract you. Let the food spoil! It’s just food! What…[Read more]

Yes, Allan! It’s all about the $$$! Twinkies are just another form of carbon.

Exactly right, Lynda. And with five bites–certainly with a multivitamin–theres is NOTHING to worry about! But the overwhelming majority of people’s attention is on the wrong ball. Focus needs to be on the fat cell and the extraordinary damage it causes.

Once again, commercial program like WW are not designed to get people to their goal and keep them there. The 5BD, on the other hand, IS!

Right. I’m not sure where they are getting their numbers, but I suspect that they are gathering data from small, thin people (who aren’t very active). Your personal data is, of course, what is significant.

That’s what counts. Keep improving on the day before. You WILL fall into a perfect groove if you keep improving every day.

Very good. Dr. Meerman, with whom Dr. Brown was collaberating, emphasized that 5% of carbon is lost through urine; the other 95% through breathing. This was discussed in one of Meerman’s Ted Talks. Specifically, according to Dr. Meerman, the average weight of carbon in the CO2 blown out in a day is 740 gm; the weight of carbon lost through ur…[Read more]

I think that is important, Gayle. Create a challenge to live up to prior to going to social events. Plan out how you are going to execute a perfect 5-bite meal despite the social pressure to eat more. Plan it out, then execute it. I love it.

Thank you guys. I so agree with Gayle: If you truly love yourself, then do this for you. You deserve it!
Lynda – I didn’t read the whole article, but it sounds like Dr. Brown supports what we are saying here, no?

OMG, Allan! This is ABSOLUTELY the right thing for you! GERD will absolutely resolve if you lose enough weight. The ONLY cure for NASH or NAFLD (fatty liver) is significant weight loss, and this diet is the PERFECT prescription. Most cases of gastritis will resolve with this diet, and IBS should improve. Diverticulitis probably won’t impr…[Read more]

If you truly want to be skinny, then just do it. Remember, this diet is YOURS and YOURS alone. This is YOU. You are a five-biter. You don’t need to convince anyone else of what you are doing or the benefits of it. You just need to do this for you. In that regard, there is no point in procrastinating; you don’t achieve anything by waiti…[Read more]

Right. And the 23rd is right around the corner–a mere 2 weeks away! We, as intelligent beings that can weigh the pluses and minuses of any issue, can certainly “tough it out hard-core” for a mere 2 weeks, right? If you truly want to have the best time possible on that cruise (in just 2 weeks!), then don’t eat a single thing except for a bar fo…[Read more]
