Number 3 on that list is KEY: We all LOVE being on 5 bites. There is something so freeing about eating exactly 5 bites of food and then voluntarily stopping right there. So empowering. So freeing. So AWESOME!!!!

If running is in your blood, then great. Enjoy it. But it WILL make you hungrier than you otherwise would be, and that can delay your weight loss. I love that attitude, Denise! And yes you can! You won’t be perfect at first, but keep honing your skills. You will get better and better at five-biting your meals as time goes on, and then … before you know it … you’re there! You’re done!! And life is simply extraordinary!!!

Again, NO ESTIMATING. It is what it is. Make an egg, and take five bites from it. Throw the rest away. If your bites are particularly large (I don’t recommend that, but whatever), maybe you’ll find that one and one-third eggs = 5 bites.
