Because, frankly, water does nothing to stimulate your senses. It has no taste, no smell, no texture (i.e. no carbon). So drink it on ice (or HOT) to stimulate your temperature fibers. But again, there is no need to force yourself to drink. But if you get thirsty, water is your go-to. I do recommend, though, getting a few cups of coffee in every day.

If you stick to that commitment, I can promise you that you can be 110, if you want, and get there relatively quickly. If you were to stick to the program perfectly, you could be 110 in 2 months. I really don’t want you to have your 10 bites at once. It turns your hungerstat too high. Keep it at 5 please. It is FAR better to have 5 bites twice a day, separated by at least 4 hours, then 10 at once. But, stay strong and fight the urges to eat later today. Tomorrow is a new day!!

I agree with both of you. It is A LOT harder eating just 5 bites of food when you are eating out. BUT, overcoming a much harder challenge produces an even greater sense of accomplishment. Slolady – great job!, but does the exercise not stimulate your appetite? Or are you keeping the walking at an easy, comfortable pace? Right. The only meal that matters is the next one. Focus on perfecting your next meal. That is ALL you need to worry about at this time. “Hmmm. How am I going to eat my next meal in five perfect bites.” That’s the game. That’s everything.
