Right. Knowing what the next few days and weeks have in store for you creates an interesting combination of emotions: excitement and consternation. But when the excitement of where you are going overrides the fear/anxiety of being hungry, the end feeling is one of being PUMPED! Bring it on! Be perfect! Get it done!!

The weight may not all come off at once, but with your determination you are consistent getting closer and closer to your goal. Just the mere fact that you are moving in that direction is fun and enjoyable–much more so that eating extra bites of food that you would have forgotten by now anyway! Keep up the great work!!

I like that way of thinking. Obviously it’s the same thing, but if this eating thought makes it easier to stick to the plan (and I think it might!!), then do it!! Let us know how it goes!

Great job. You are learning how to control your weight perfectly. I love it. But please–as often as possible–eat just 5 bites twice a day. It’ll will make everything so much easier in the long run!

The mind is an incredibly strong, miraculous thing. Your mind is in a perfect place right now. Keep it going and power through the tough times. When you look back on those tough times, you will feel SO GOOD that you didn’t give in. There is nothing that feels as good as it does to stick with this program as it’s designed!

Great, Samantha. Focus on the process and the journey. The journey itself is really fun when you do this right. It’s like working: If you love what you do for work, you never have to “work” a day in your life. If you love the process of losing weight (which I truly believe you will do if you stick to this program perfectly), the process won…[Read more]

This all looks very exciting. Try not to change a thing–ever–until you have completed the journey. It will be one of the greatest achievements a human being can ever make!

Great job. And honesty, does it “taste better” to be perfect that to eat food. Think about how you felt after dinner last night. You successfully fended off the temptation to eat extra food. Didn’t that make you feel so in-control and GOOD? And that feeling lasts–much longer than the flavor of any particular food. You are doing great; your…[Read more]

Brilliant! I am so happy to have you here. This time we are going to go all the way, OK RSikes!!
So, when did you start the diet again, and what have you eaten since you started. How has it worked for you? Or, are you starting the diet today?

Shelly,
I think it is important to appreciate hunger for what it is. It is an annoying feeling–truly painful at times–that means GREAT things are happening inside the body. This dichotomy toys with our emotions, but you can develop a new relationship with hunger, and hence change your emotional attachments to it. Hunger is the only thing th…[Read more]

Hi. Sure, you can do just Breakfast and Lunch, but 2 things: 1. nothing else! (no snacks, etc). and 2. The two meals need to be separated by at least 4 hours. Otherwise, sure! … Go for it!
EVERYTHING is sugar, or some other arrangement of carbon atoms that become sugar when reassembled in your stomach. Your biggest weakness–all of our…[Read more]

Welcome back, Shelly! So good to see you again! Yep, I’m right here to support you 100% on your journey. Start today, and let’s see how much you can reinvent yourself before that big surgery date. I’m sorry to hear about the need for it. I might even suggest, though, that losing the weight could prevent the need for surgery. I guess we’ll see.
