You can eat whatever you want, just keep it to 5 bites. I don’t like soup (or chowder–unless it’s real chunky), so have 1 bite of it and be done (5 bites of clam chowder taste no different than one bite). You are right–there are some foods that are worse than other foods, particularly those that are high in cholesterol. Some ‘bad’ foods might contain chemicals that may turn out to be carcinogenic in the future. But what i meant by good and bad is that a calorie is a calorie–and all foods have them.

Your bowel movements should slow down to about once per week, if you are doing what I have suggested perfectly.

I don’t know exactly why you lost so little weight. My guess is your bites were much bigger than you realized. But regardless, one way or another, you are taking in the calories. Your body, just living (breathing, pumping blood, etc) require about 1800 cal a day, and even if you eat 2 snickers bars in a day you are still 1300…[Read more]

A 2.07 oz Snickers Bar contains 5 bites, the way I envision them. If you chose to eat smaller bites great. Just what ever your bite size is, please stick with it. But this isn’t hard–just eat whatever, and once you’ve had five bites you are done. It’s that easy. Very small variations in size won’t make a difference.
