Bethany – why don’t you just make the 3-day sacrifice to reset your hungerstat. Why not? Once you do, you will not BE ABLE to binge, because your stomach won’t allow you to. Yes, you may get ‘stressed out’ from time to time and eat more than 5 bites, but you will be ‘stuffed’ much sooner than you otherwise would have once your hungerstat has…[Read more]

Hi Renee –
At the top of the page is a little envelope icon. Click on that, or the "In Box" and it will take you to the intramail. From there you can contact any of the other members.

The Weight Tracking is accessed through a different pathway. What this means is that you (often, but not always) must FIRST logout, then click on weight tracking and re-login to that area.
Let me know if this works for you.

Howdy again, Rfrawley!
I recommend a Centrum Multivitamin (I like the chewables) or a One-A-Day. It doesn’t really matter, but I recommend one of those two.
Good luck. It sounds like your mind is in the perfect place, and I expect you will do well on this diet!

No. But it is easy to gain from eating. Don’t let sickness give you the excuse to eat. Again, we live in an immediate-gratification society. You hurt or feel hungry, and you immediately look for a way to ‘fix’ it. Don’t! I want you to be hungry until your hungerstat resets–no excuses!

Good job fending off those temptations. The trick here is to be perfect for the first few days to allow your hungerstat to reset. Once it has, EVERYTHING will make so much sense. So just do it. You are already part (most?) of the way there, right? Just 5 small bites. It sounds so simple, yet the effect is so extraordinarily powerful. Keep…[Read more]

Hi Kizzykay –
I think this journal idea is a great idea. I think it is a super way for you to stay focused on your goal. If you do as you plan, and only eat one of those Snickers in a day, you will, invariably, drop about 60 pounds in 1 month. The reality is, though, that very few people could stick to such a regimen. It is not difficult to…[Read more]

Hi, and welcome to you in Norway!
I don’t mind the fact that you are eating a little more than 5 bites (maybe your ‘bites’ are smaller than most) as long as the bite count stays constant so that you are always putting the same volume of food into your stomach for a meal. This allows your hungerstat to rest so that you are not…[Read more]

I don’t know, but doubt, that it will cause a long-term problem. But it will likely slow your progress (from the extra calories).

I don’t think Diet Coke will affect your weight loss at all. In terms of bad chemicals–well, I guess only time will tell.

Hi Lattechic! Thanks for checking in.
Taking the last question first–I think you already figured out how to get your weight info into the posts. What’s more, if you just add each weeks new data into your chart, the post data automatically updates.
Stick to the 4 bites 2 times per day. No exceptions. YOU CAN DO THIS. And, if you are not…[Read more]

Hi Ibee217 –
I just responded to this in the email you sent me. : )
You are probably dehydrated and drinking more water should take care of it. If not, see you doctor.

Nope. Not even close. And you’re getting really close, so just stick with the 2 Snickers Bars until the job is done, and then the world’s doors will be open to you.

You are going to do great. Just keep plugging along in the right direction, and you have no other choice but to eventually cross the finish line.
By the way, would you mind putting your weight tracking info into your profile, so that when you post a note I can instantly see the summary of your success? Or not? It’s up to you.
