Elizabeth,
I have enjoyed our conversations as well!
Yes: if you don’t commit to eating perfectly, you can drag this program out for as long as you’d like. That is why I’m all about doing the diet right and hard and finishing the program as quickly as possible. A few key points that I want to make:
1. Nothing is more valuable than your own h…[Read more]

Great. I know it’s tough at times, and being skinny is different. But, it’s spectacular! SO … keep the focus all the way to the finish line. Don’t be afraid of how your body reacts to using up your fat reserves: dizziness, hunger, headaches, etc. are only temporary, and in the end you are only dramatically improving your health. You’ve got this!!

Great for lunch, but the key is to repeat that size for dinner. A full bar is fine, but you’ve got to just “jump in” and get this program started. Is it hard? YES! But immediately after that first leap you will start to feel amazing, like … “OMG! I’m finally doing this! It feels AMAZING!”

This is interesting, and it just make an adjustment for people who are smaller, but this new calculation needs time to be validated. STILL, it’s just a modification to the existing calculation, and ultimately your health doesn’t rely on a number or an estimation. Your health relies on the amount of fat around your stomach. SO, ultimately, th…[Read more]

Hi Sarah!
First, WELCOME!! Sorry I’m late getting to these messages–it’s been a really busy weekend for me.
All I ask is that you go AT LEAST 4 hours in between meals. 6 sounds great!
I think would be a fantastic goal. Let’s re-evaluate when you are there! But I love it!!

Great, Elizabeth! Now that you’ve come this far–1 pound down–can you keep the ball rolling forward. Every moment that goes by without eating means that you are adding on to that 1 pound. Then, at your next meal, be perfect. You will walk away feeling incredible, and this further cements your losses. Next thing you know, you are down 2 poun…[Read more]

I don’t know. Try it and you’ll figure it out. Five bites will get you to your goal, but once there you will have to find–with activity or no activity–a general sense of how much food you need to stay at that number. You WILL figure it out, but there may be a trial and error period. For now, enjoy being at goal and enjoy eating whatever you…[Read more]

If your weight falls significantly, even eating only cholesterol-rich foods, your LDL will still fall.

drlewis replied to the topic Question for Dr. Lewis in the forum The Slimming Station Diet 2 months ago
YES!! Your lipids will significantly improve: your LDL will fall, your HDL will rise, and your triglycerides will fall. That is a guarantee. NOW, some people still can’t get their LDL all the way to goal with weight loss alone; for a certain portion of the population genetics keep LDL high (although it still gets lower with weight loss). T…[Read more]
