Exactly right, Tonia! The food that you don’t finish tasting today will be waiting for you at the finish line. But NOTHING comes even close to tasting as good as being thin feels. So keep up the good focus and find a way to pass time that doesn’t involve food. An absolutely extraordinary life awaits you!!!

Today is day one, have had my snickers and then had an egg. Felt yucky from all the booze yesterday so I needed the egg.
I am so stuffed from all the food I ate yesterday I am not hungry at all. But my mind and greed wants me to get something tasty because I’m bored and because food does taste good. But I won’t because nothing tastes as good as…[Read more]

So i’ve had two false starts. Today was not at all because I was hungry but because of alcohol which I “needed” to calm my jitters from the caffeine I had earlier. So staying away from coffee is definitely on my list.
Tomorrow I begin my last and final false start. Have my snickers bars and desire to be thin and attractive and fit into my…[Read more]

Yeah I don’t even mess with those, way to tempting. popcorn and other types of snack food are out for me since it’s too difficult to get just right, but that’s just me

Spoon…
Yes, I guess I am use to have nuts given that I am vegetarian for 25 years now, and somehow, they are just a usual food for me that I don’t crave it. But I will watch it, in fact I am going to count the amount of almonds that fit in the spoon for times that I don’t have a spoon and know how many almonds to eat and count it as a bite…
thanks.

When I think of all the hundreds (maybe thousands) of times I have sat down to a dinner plate of 4 oz of chicken and 1 cup of vegetables, the candy bar looks perfectly delicious!

Following Dr. Lewis’ advice/challenge I thought that I’d post this photo of my dinner (cena) for this evening.

Dr. Lewis, you are right. Snicker bars are not very exciting and I doubt that I will have another one for awhile after I reach my goal of 150 lbs. I am desperate to break the plateau soon, but I know that I must be careful and prudent. I am praying and hoping that during This next week I will get close to 159. Then I will be in the Fini…[Read more]

Hi Father,
When you are stuck on a plateau, the easiest way to break it is to be perfect. In fact, go back to bars. It’s a perfect time. I know that bars are the least bit exciting, but seeing the scale move down is. So commit to the bars, keep carbon out of your liquids, and let the breathing happen. You will HAVE to break the plateau quic…[Read more]

Hi BeClean!
Fine. Putting the nuts on a spoon is a great idea. But boy nuts are tough: they are SO tempting. (They are normally snack food.) Nuts come in big packages, and when you’ve had one spoonful, you are so tempted to have another, then another, then another. But again, as long as you are committed to the finish line and want that more…[Read more]

Dear beclean! Thanks for your prompt reply. It means a lot to me. I remember when I did the 5 Bite Diet as Dr. Lewis’ patient when I was living in Los Angeles loosing the last 25 pounds was very hard. I have thought about all of the things you mention. I have been able to be more physically active, mainly riding my bicycle on the trails near…[Read more]

it’s a horrible feeling…
I haven’t gotten that far, but maybe is because you are getting closer to the finish line? could that be? that it’s more slow?… are you eating the same amount? are you doing extra exercise that could be adding muscle? or water retention?. or the oposite maybe it’s time to add some walking?, because I know how…[Read more]

I love the words of “feelings come and go”… wow, it’s so true and we believe it’s forever that urge and it does pass. amazing how the body adjust to the two meals right. I also get the feeling of hunger at my first meal, I feel like a dog, who knows exactly his meal time. 😂 😂 .

I feel like I can see the Finishing Lane leading to the Finish Line, my goal of 150 lbs. But I’ve hit a plateau and have been stuck at the same weight for several days. it is so frustrating. I know that I must be patient, but it is still very frustrating.
