You are here BK and that is a huge step forward. Getting on the scale once a week is perfect. Stick to exactly what dr Lewis suggests and journal here regularly every day. It keeps you accountable. Do whatever it takes BK to have a perfect first week. It is incredible how quickly this diet works if you stick with it. Take note and recognize…[Read more]

Way to go Rachel! You’ve got this! Stress is a slippery slope. I like Dr Lewis’ idea of picturing yourself thin, happy, and healthy instead of reaching for food. I’m going to try that

Indeed! Stress and anxiety are triggers for most people to eat, and eating makes you feel good–for a moment. But then you feel even worse for hours to come! I think the best stress reliever is to imagine yourself skinny, maximally healthy, and free of the stress you are feeling today. Getting skinny WILL get you there, but until you are the…[Read more]

Thanks Becky! We got this!
Day 2 Weigh-in: – 1.2 lbs
Not a bad daily loss, considering some slips. I did “okay” yesterday – had an extra bar that wasn’t planned (my bars are smaller than a snickers) and a handful of popcorn. Also indulged in a cup of veggie broth before bed, as I struggled with thoughts of eating more that evening. Water and t…[Read more]

Ugh, 😑 been having a hard time staying on track and consistent with my bites. No other reasons besides my lack of accountability and just ignoring/avoiding the scale. Back at it!

Great. Live off of cheap, pre-packaged food. Eat quickly, and throw everything away. If you want to spend TIME eating, for it’s enjoyment, slowly sip on hot coffee or tea. But this is a great opportunity to stick to the diet perfectly. Again, imagine how incredible the finish line will feel. What are you waiting for?

I am still here. Trying to keep my bites consistent but not following the plan exactly, and not losing. Lots of changes in my world right now. Finished my first round of Finals in Grad school, moving my home (landlord suddenly decided to sell his house this month), and my son just started back up with distance learning as I continue to hold do…[Read more]

Love it! I’ll focus on how amazing it feels when I’m exact on my bites. It really does feel amazing to know I stopped right at five bites!
Those are awesome suggestions! I’ll give those a try. I’ve been using baths as a way of escape so far. Thank you!
