Im so excited to be here. I can’t believe it’s taken so long for me to find this but I’m looking forward to losing all this unwanted weight. I bought the book earlier and have already read part 1.

Hi Ann! Good to have someone with similar weight loss goals! The Why Weight Around Warriors is a closed Facebook group that offers support for Dr. Lewis’ 5 bite diet. You should definitely check it out!

Hi Chelstems! Looks like you and I are at about the same size/goals/etc, except I’m 20 years old than you. Hey…you can do this! You will be at your goal weight in time for Hawaii…if not sooner! What is the Why Weight Around Warriors FB page? I haven’t heard of that yet, but I just joined on Monday night. Dr. Lewis has great advice…[Read more]

Oops. I certainly don’t want to lose anymore weight. I’ll have to fix that. Can you just see your stats and mine, or can everyone see everyone else’s stats?

Hello! I am back on Slimming Station after 2 years. I lost 15 pounds following 5 bites in 2016. I’ve put it all back on plus more! I’ve been playing around with other ways of eating to try to get back to my happy weight, but I haven’t been successful because I would fudge here & cheat there. I’m a member of the Why Weight Around Warriors Faceboo…[Read more]

Yes, we did see your old stats, so it looked like you were on the program. Thanks for updating them…now it says “you have lost 72 pounds and are at 128 pounds. You are 35, 5’10”, with a starting weight of 200 lbs, you are on week 11, and you want to lose 20 more pounds to be at 108 pounds for your goal. Your best weekly loss is 36 pounds”.

I’ll be honest with you guys: I don’t know what you see. When you go to the weigh tracker, you see your stats–and mine? Could someone please tell me.
I just revised my data to more correctly reflect my weight loss. I did all of this some 15 years ago. I’ve been at 128 since.

I definitely am not ready to throw out the scale yet…I want to see that wonderful skinny number over and over before I graduate to the next level. It is just a goal of mine to get to that point someday.
I’m kind of confused by your weight tracking etc. Dr. Lewis…are you on the program or is that what you lost?

Ann. Fine, but don’t throw out your scale. You will need it to finely titrate your weight when you hit your magic number. For now, just use the scale once a week. But when you are skinny, step on it frequently until you know and can feel how weight fluctuates about your ideal number. I can tell you what I weigh to the 0.5 pound sens…[Read more]

I love that: … Did you lose weight?
“I have no idea!”
My take is this: Everyone–women more than men, maybe–but everyone talks and obsesses about weight, because NO ONE is at their goal weight. EVERYONE has a single number where their body runs at it’s best. Mine is 127. That may go down a pound or so decades from now, but that’s my…[Read more]

Hi Pia,
In the past when I have lost weight, people have made comments, too. So….everybody must be watching everybody for gains or losses in their weight-LOL! It is one thing when someone says “wow-you look great, did you lose weight?” versus “are you sick? you look like you have lost weight…”. It really isn’t any of their business. It i…[Read more]
