Day 6
This is beyond easy. It feels like I can carry on like this indefinitely. I remember feeling the same way with the potatoes after a few days and then crashing with the salt cravings but I have eliminated that variable entirely so there is literally no excuse to not just keep going. I think part of the reason this is okay for me is because…[Read more]

Nice! I think you’ll get through that one meal no problem since you’ve already made so much progress

I like that you’re counting down the days. It’s like crossing off days on a calendar anticipating christmas, except it’s kinda better because it means losing all the fat!

Fantastic Alison! Have you weighed in at all or are you waiting until the end of the 120 days? I can’t remember. It’s exciting.

I’m going to sincerely try to do bars at least once a day for a few days. Unfortunately, I have some things planned this weekend that involve going out for at least once meal. Although, I am still going to do 5 bites the best I can. I was down another pound this morning, so I am motivated to keep going. 170’s here I come!

Day 5
This is kind of stupidly easy.
Lunch was 3 spoonfuls of homeade chili and two bites from a krinkle bar.
Dinner I ate a fig bar on the fly at work around my usual dinner. Exactly 5 bites!
I may be dropping my diuretic at least for a little while to avoid any extra complication to this mission. I know i can just go back on it if need…[Read more]

Breakfast coffee, lunch 1/2 a snickers in 5 bites, dinner 1 bite green bean, 1 bite pasta salad, 3 bites homemade sourdough bread. Totally satisfying! Another great day!
18 perfect days down, 102 to go!

Leona, you sound like a foodie to me. Not missing out on the good stuff. I took 5 bites from my sons yiros/kebab last night. It was delicious. I’ve already lost 8 pounds on this diet and are feeling better for it. I have a selection of nice cheeses and gourmet bites ready for dinner tonight. I stuggle with not being able to enjoy a class of wine…[Read more]

Right. So just keep going with what you have now. Once you get to the finish line, if you feel you would benefit from it, then get a copy.

Yes! Please join me on Monday!
Everyone is different, but you should be able to lose at least double digits in 1 week. How about eating NOTHING but a bar twice a day for the next 7 days to prove it!

I’m down another 0.6 today for a total of 7 lbs. I actually am less interested in food than ever before, which is a complete miracle. I really want to just kill it and do black coffee and 5 bites x 2. Dr. Lewis, any idea how much someone of my height and weight (5′ tall and 188 lbs) could potentially lose in a week? I keep going to my calendar…[Read more]

From my understanding there is an entirely new section after the weight loss stage all about the weight maintenance aspect. Though Dr. Lewis recommends not reading that part until one reaches their goal weight.

I can’t count the number of birthdays/holidays that we ate dessert after the meal and then once the kids were in bed I’d grab another piece. But last night I didn’t feel any pull to eat the leftover pie and there is enough to give the kids a second serving after lunch today.
Also, I usually eat fast and tend to chew the whole meal on one side,…[Read more]

Mary,
Just imagine how much better your life is going to be when you are thin. Imagine how wonderful your trips with your friends are going to be when you are skinny and you can eat without care or regret. Maybe, for now, you should cancel all other trips with friends and just focus on you. Getting to the finish line is the #1 issue in yo…[Read more]
