I’m having such a hard time sticking to this. I do well for awhile then I end up non stop binging. I’m not even hungry and I’m stuffing myself. I’ve never binged before.
I started at 163 got down to 154.5 in a week and I’m back up to 159.5.
I don’t know what to do. I know I need to lose the weight I know I want to lose the weight I know I’m si…[Read more]

Yeah those little extra bite impulses are pretty interesting to note when you’re do focused on the bite count. It certainly encourages mindfulness.

Yeah it’s very interesting that a higher level of control is accompanied by a lack of intense hunger/anticipation for food. I suppose that is expected but usually i would destroy those fries in an instant and i really wouldn’t appreciate what I am eating. I actually stopped cooking a while ago (unless with gf) just to make things as simple as…[Read more]

My unconscious eating has stopped too
The idea that I can eat the most indulgent food I can think of without the guilt. I love cooking and make the lasagna’s for a local primary school, and any extra food I cook I freeze or hand it on to those less fortunate in our community. But I have really stepped back from cooking large quantities…[Read more] -

I’ve had a perfect day. Nachos for lunch and carbonara pasta for dinner. I bought little plastic containers to put my 5 bites in so I don’t have leftovers hanging around. I can totally relate to the Italian sausage. I’m the largest pork producer in a town in Australia which is called “Little Italy”. Salami season has just finished.
I h…[Read more] -

Days 7+8
I went camping, hiking, and swimming this weekend and I ate perfectly! I’m still so surprised that the intense hunger or energy drain is not really hitting me. I can do so much more than I ever thought possible with very little food apparently.
day 7 lunch: 5 bites krinkle bar
day 7 dinner: 4 bites krinkle bar, 1 bite marshmallow.…[Read more]

Had a bit of an off weekend but starting 7 days of bars tomorrow. Hubby said he doesn’t mind. I think he’s tired of hearing me complain about my weight.

After a week of eating without counting bites at all and being on medication I’m back at it. I’ve also gained back 6lbs so my starting weight now is 159.5lbs.
I am so tired of being so fat. It’s so hard to believe less than 3 years ago I was in the best shape of my life and then I just gave up. I kept telling myself I was going to get in shape…[Read more]

Both forms of distraction are excellent. Personally (and I do this a lot), I like to have a cup of coffee after dinner. It will ABSOLUTEY kill any lingering hunger. So, have five bites, then a cup of coffee, and you are good to go. But you have to be the type that can then fall asleep.

Oh and I’m down from a size 24 to a size 20! Now that’s exciting for me.
Thankfully I use a clothing service and order 20 dresses at a time. I ordered all of my size 20s and sent all my 24s back. Hopefully by the end of August I’ll be ordering size 18s!

I’m finding wearing my favourite perfume helps. Whenever I get a hunger pain or think about food, I smell my wrists and stop thinking about it. I have dropped 8 pounds and had a slow start, weaning off coffee with milk and alcohol, but following the diet exactly. You are right Chloe about packing the food away after your 5 bites. It’s tempting to…[Read more]
