Thank you so much for your encouragement, I am definitely not giving up I have some good days and some not so good, but I really would love to do it hardcore and get done with it. Like you I have also done the diet several times and have been down to 117-118 pounds, but like you I also feel 2nd, 3rd etc time is much harder which is weird because I…[Read more]

Awww Pia, I’m sorry you’re having a rough time now…I get it—I’m sure what number attempt this is for me. I do think it seems harder each attempt. But I am thinking that the result *has* to be worth it—at least that’s the hope and for me, if I give up on that hope then I just give up and nothing will work. As long as there is hope then I need…[Read more]

Hi Michelle.thank you so much, am so pleased that you found my “babbling” useful, to be honest I still want this but for some reason I have struggled to stay consistent and lately I have just sort of maintained the 125 pounds, because of my lack of progress I decided to go in hiding, but I still really want the BMI of 18,5 or lower it’s…[Read more]

Hi =)
I am here again, but I’m here and that’s what is important…I fear accountability and (imagined) judgement but I think that makes it even more important to be here.
I have had the hardest time in past attempts finding my “why” and envisioning success; however, I now finally have both of these pieces of the puzzle which would not have ha…[Read more]

Had 2 perfect days and lost 2 pounds. I’m cut up some pizza and weighed it. My serving size was 80gm by eye, so I cut it down to 50gm. I sometimes have trouble with variation of bite sizes, but weighing is my insurance policy. Sticking to the bars at lunch.
When I overeat, I have terrible indigestion, so I just remember how insufferable that is…[Read more]

Wonderful katie. I am cheering you on.
stay away from food for now. My husband has been away for five days so I threw all the food out of the fridge even salad so I didn’t have to be tempted by any food. I have two more days before he is home. I am jumping on tomorrow. Have slipped majorly. Need to get me back again .racing with you no…[Read more]

Your plan, Katie, is perfect. But you WILL get there a lot sooner than 40 days. But just focus on the next meal–the next bar. Make it to 12. Enjoy every bite of your bar. Taste it. Savor it. Then throw the wrapper away, and find a way to pass time until 5:00. Repeat. If you get hungry in-between bars, remind yourself why you are on this…[Read more]

I have had a bad week this week, but determined to get back on track. Had a few family dramas. I have this horrible Uncle who is a con man and has taken $30,000 from my Auntie who has dementia. So there has been some stress eating, but I’ve organised for my cousin to go power of attorney so it doesn’t happen again. I think everyone has some…[Read more]

Didn’t sleep very well last night, and woke up hungry. Going to power through this feeling until Noon, when I will have my first bar of the day. About to hit the meditation pillow before I head to work.
Down 1.5 lbs today. Current weight is 159.
Goodbye to the 160’s!!!! -

Another perfect day. Lunch was 1 luna bar. Dinner I had planned for another bar. But a coworker had bought me a special vegan chocolate cupcake from a beautiful local bakery. So I ate 2 bites of this for dinner. Threw the rest away. Those two bites were excuisite. Didn’t need a bite more. Hunger stat is kicking in!

Great. Now, after the fact, is your life any less complete because you didn’t give in an eat? NO! In fact, it’s a WHOLE LOT BETTER ALREADY!
Keep up the great work!Al

Food is always tempting, but it’s enjoyment is SO SHORT LIVED. Don’t give in! So, practice distraction. Stay away from food as much as you can. Throw everything away. Right now ALL of your attention should be on getting to the finish line, and only then can you re-engage in life’s normal routines.
