What a wonderful chat with Dr. Lewis! I am inspired more than ever to keep it tight and get this done.

This week is a big holiday week. Fortunately, one day is a fast day.

Tomorrow night is traditionally a big meal. I will have 5 bites of salmon and caulirice. During the day I will have my eggs or a bar.

Right, Sharon.  The diet is the epitome of simple and freeing.  When you just do it, everything falls into place and makes sense.  So, to everyone out there:  Just make the commitment and tough it out until your hungerstat resets.

Yes!  And you will deserve every square inch of it (even though there will be fewer inches of it).

Just a fun fact:  I won a pie eating contest in college (I represented all of Revelle at UCSD!) eating a lemon meringue pie.  As much as I love them, they were never quite the same since.

True, there’ll definitely be many more meals just like that in the future, however this meal is pulling me and the smells are very tempting but I have to keep practicing until the pull towards food starts to wane
