Thank you Dr Lewis! I am doing the snickers bars. I’m like them okay, but definitely not my favorite candy bar, although I do like candy bars in general. One snickers bar will last for maybe 1 hour or so. Hunger and cravings are quite strong but I’m going to trust and hope that they subside after day 3!

Right. So let’s do it! It’s just hunger and overwhelming temptation (at times), but that’s it. You are not combating the much more challenging consequences of too much weight: diabetes, kidney failure, liver failure, cancer. Put in that perspective, hunger and temptation seem rather easy to deal with.

Thank you so much. Your words are so helpful. I have read the book. Twice. But maybe I need to go back over some sections. Hi Susan , thank you 🙏🏻. I am joining back Tuesday. I am traveling back home tomorrow and can’t wait to Get back on board. Missing my five bite portion control. My fridge and cupboards are bare so that is a good start except protein bars and snickers
