I guess, Elizabeth, I just wanted to be thin more than anything. So stress, etc. didn’t phase me. I would go for walks or read or play piano–anything to keep my mind off food. But I knew what I wanted–to be thin–and NOTHING was going to stop me.
No. I have not had contact with them, though Gayle made a reappearance here a few months back.

True–it’s not easy–but it IS doable, and it IS well worth it. So keep hanging in there. It gets easier and easier the more you get into this program.

I think what Allison mentioned before is key: focus on the flavor of everything you eat. Taste it, analyze it, and then question whether or not you really need another bite of that same food.
