I want you to do what works best for you. I feel that 5 bites 2x a day is better than 10 bites once a day, but do what you think works best for you and your situation.

Yes. That’s fine. The 5BD is just a tool. A tool that guarantees quick weight loss in as comfortable a manner as possible. If you need to take a break, fine. But then you’ll have to go through a few days of hunger as you turn your hungerstat back down to 5 on your next leg of the journey.
