I’m having too difficult time if I try to do 5 bites with regular food.
I’m thinking I need the structure having the set volume be a bar until I get the hungerstat dialed in.
Good luck everyone.
If I get to goal I’d like to remain on the slimming station just to help everyone out.
It’s hard to keep trying, I need to see a few extra people that…[Read more]

Elizabeth W. started the topic Thank you to Alison-Caffeine Pills Suggestion in the forum The Slimming Station Diet 11 months, 2 weeks ago
Alison,
Thanks. I’ve tried it and it works a bit better than coffee. Sometimes the black coffee can bit a bit too acidic, depending on the brand or if I’m on the road and needing to get it from a coffee shop.
I just need to make sure I have water on hand.

Elizabeth W. replied to the topic Question for Dr. Lewis Goals and timing in the forum The Slimming Station Diet 11 months, 3 weeks ago
Have you ever weighed below a bmi of 18.5 before? I’m thinking for hormonal reasons getting to a bmi of 16 might not be good. It’s a good amount of stress on the body to be that low. My experience in the past (about a dozen years ago), and that was when I was closer to 18.5 bmi was that my cycle ceased for 10 months, and my vitamin D was so low…[Read more]

Stalled out last week. I’m feeling less inflamed/less pain with my injuries. And I am feeling less fatigued.
I hope this helps. It’s been 4 years of dealing with hormonal issues that may be resolving now.
It’s just too bad it’s taken this long to resolve. I’ve been forced to go outside of Kaiser HMO. Kaiser is ok if you have a broken leg, I…[Read more]

Elizabeth W. started the topic Question for Dr. Lewis in the forum The Slimming Station Diet 1 year ago
I’m planning on doing a hard push into 5 bites, next 4 weeks. I am due for a blood drawn in 4 weeks.
Will my lipids go down in that time? Reason I am asking is because it seems some people noticed a rise at first when doing the diet.
Thank you!

Has anyone here done 3 weeks or more nearly perfectly? If so what have your results been? Did you find the hunger settling? How were your energy levels?

Hello All,
I need to put in 7 hard weeks so I can be healthy and turn things around. (Apparently my thyroid is low, in the red. Meeting with my doctor tomorrow to go
over blood work).
Need to have tunnel vision.
Wish me luck.

I’m hoping to lose 8 pounds, before hopefully meeting with a physical therapist for achilles tendonitis(over use).
I’m tired of feeling gross, being in office clothes/chair is a reminder. Body fat is too high.I’m going to try to do bars until next Wednesday, got to break through.

Elizabeth W. replied to the topic I am giving up…. in the forum The Slimming Station Diet 1 year ago
It’s the most clear cut way, and probably the best way for someone approaching or in menopause. Bodies do not want to give up weight like when we had all our hormones when we were younger, our natural testosterone that is released each month with ovulation is no longer there, that also helps us maintain a little more muscle mass. It does require a…[Read more]

I’ve read LOTs of old posts. There was someone by the name of Dr. Collins/Bright Angel? I believe that had the
same experience as you.
From her blog: “My experimentation with the 5 bite diet occurred while my weight was in the middle of the normal weight BMI range. I successfully completed two weeks of 5 bite diet, and left it in the third week.…[Read more]

I wound up having 2 periods a month in
Perimenopause, which can start up to 5-10 years before menopause. You can always ask your provider to test your ovarian reserve.
Good luck. Providers are bad when it comes to dealing with menopausal women. Ask me anything

It’s happened to me. I take aspirin (non-caffeinated) or Excedrin with caffeine at times.
I think this is more of an ideal plan for menopausal aged women, actually. Part of brain is very cautious when I communicate with women that I think haven’t reached that stage. I had a point in my life where I made too much of cut trying to get my weight…[Read more]
