Biggest tip to make Plenity work, don’t guzzle the 16 ounces of water needed, or you’ll wind up feeling nauseous. And I find taking it at 1030, mid morning helps. Then lunch at around 1pm. Next dose of plenity at around 3pm. Will keep you guys posted.
I will weigh again next Friday, access to scale.

Good day, but I won’t have a reliable scale until Friday.
I’m hoping for 2 pounds down.

I took it an hour before lunch, normally I would be starving, but I really wasn’t that hungry.
I’ll be confident once I’ve completed an entire week on this. I haven’t had any side effects (was a bit nervous about it.)

Will be recording over the next 7 weeks, hopefully can stay consistent.
Day 1 Restart-Down 1 pound, not bad. We’ll see what happens day

Alison, you bring up some good points. I think I will use it full strength for my first 5 weeks restart.
Then slowly do half dose and eventually wean off.

Hello All,
I’ve been struggling. I can’t take phentermine.
Plenity used to require a prescription, but no longer, has been cleared by the FDA.
It’s supposed to help you feel fuller longer. I thought I would give it a try (not cheap, runs about $100 a month with no insurance, but I really need the weight off).
I’ll let you know how it works…[Read more]

Had an appointment today related to my sprained ankle. Wasn’t happy about the scale. I need to buckle down these next 2 months, hard. And don’t care about the holidays, best gift is feeling better. Nothing like weighing in at a doctor’s office to put your feet to the fire.
I had to cancel the card I normally use, the first thing I did was…[Read more]

Yes! Much faster than any other plan!

I’m hoping this post helps someone. Michael was the nearly PERFECT poster child for this plan.
I’ve gone through a LOT of his entries. He averaged around 4 pounds a week towards the later half of his weight loss.
I would say for a lot of us this may be realistic, especially if you are on the shorter size.

May drop in on chat just to listen. I’ll probably update everyone in about 5 weeks if I am successful.
Just watched an old YouTube video with Gregory Mantell, good stuff.

Thanks everyone. I’ve been having a hell of a time getting my hormones and now thyroid dialed in this past year. It really does effect weight loss and being able to focus on anything actually. I had a complete fast day on Thursday and it actually seemed easier to manage than my attempts at five bites in the past. Have had a good day today, but not…[Read more]

I feel really badly, just realized I’ve put out $650.00 on this site, over the past year.
Unfortunately haven’t gotten to goal, can’t really justify the cost, too bad insurance doesn’t cover.
Enjoyed talking to everyone.

Just saw a friend that is on weight loss drugs, glp1-compounded. She is very thin, but not haggard.
I’m feeling reeling nervous like the weight will never come off.
I’ve reduced lunch to 1/2 a bar.

Hello,
Apparently new guidelines are being updated. It’ll mostly effect us short people. I’m only 5 foot.
It feels validating. When I reached the higher range of the so called healthy bmi I still felt over fat.
Here’s a calculator(Author is from the UK): https://people.maths.ox.ac.uk/trefethen/bmi_calc.html

I believe he said it was around bmi of around 16 is when, at least in the US, they start to view possible diagnosis of
anorexia. Do you have a doctor that has your history over many years? If you have been around this weight for many years, and became pregnant around this weight then you just may have a tendency to be naturally thin.
