  • Since July 2018 I’ve lost 47 pounds. I went from a size 12 to now a 4. I’ve jacked around with this for so long. Like eating and entire quest bar instead of taking just 5 bites.   • Today I’m snow tubing with my grandkids. I ate 5 bites of a Quest bar for lunch at 12:30. I’ve had 3 cups of black coffee so far today. I knew I’d need it to keep up with these kids!

    Thank you Dr! This is getting easier. I’m not waking up “starving “ now, so that’s good. I’m looking to be finished in 3 weeks- I still want to lose 30 pounds. I’ve moved my goal from 108 to 105. I know I can do it cause I’ve been there before. Thank you for your encouragement last night in the chat. Those help so much!

    chicken fried steak- 3 bites

    green beans- 1 bite

    red potatoes- 1 bite

  • Thank you! I’m finishing the day with 5 bites of a Quest bar. My husband is eating leftovers. My third PERFECT day!!!! Hopefully I’ll be in a better mood tomorrow     ;-)

  • I started last week at 141 and weigh 137 this morning. I’m not upset with the 4 pounds lost but I’m not ecstatic either.   • Second perfect day! Black coffee until 12:30, 5 bites of a grilled cheese sandwich, coffee at 3:00, a LOT of gum, and 3 bites of turkey, 1 bite of spinach, 1 bite of red potatoes for dinner. I must admit, I’m not in the best of moods. I am SO hungry today. Again, I’m going to bed a happy five biter tonight and hope to be skinnier tomorrow!!!

    My first meal at 12:40 today is four bites of chicken nuggets from Chick-fil-A and a bite of French fry. Water to drink. The rest went in the trash not on my behind!!!

    I’m looking to have a perfect 5 bite day today- and everyday until these last 30 pounds are gone! I’m going to do whatever it takes to get down to 105. Whatever. It. Takes!  :yahoo:

  • I’ll let you know. We sound like kindred spirits- it makes me hungrier too but I’ll try anything. If I get a pack of gum I chew one piece after the other. I like how Dr Lewis said it won’t hurt.

  • I haven’t been doing as good as I should have, I’m ashamed to say. I’m not gaining but I’m not losing. I got on here to say that I watched the chat from this past Monday and got some great advice. I’ve been drinking Diet Sodas like water!
