It was nice getting to be on a call with both you and Gayle. I feel like we have each been on this journey at different times in the past few years, in one way or another, but never at the same time. Like passing ships in the night. LOL.

Good day yesterday! I find what works best is 3 bites x 3 meals right now. 12pm, 4pm, and 7pm. I will adjust this if it seems like I hit a plateau. Although my food is packaged, low-calorie/low-volume diet food, I am still counting bites and never finishing the item. Sounds like a fabulous plan Gayle. 🎉 I find the Calm app super helpful. There is a great sleeping meditation on there called Letting Go Into Sleep. And another one called Gently Back to Sleep for when I wake up in the middle of the night. Have a fantastic afternoon!

Thank you! So true…just need to get a few days here under my belt. I have got down as far as 154 on 5 bite. Not goal, but a lot less than I am now. Not a bad daily loss, considering some slips. I did “okay” yesterday – had an extra bar that wasn’t planned (my bars are smaller than a snickers) and a handful of popcorn. Thanks everyone! I am trying to do my best. The first few days were hard (mentally not physically). I ended up eating an extra protein bar each day.

Yes! So much more to life than eating excess food. No need to eat more than 5 bites on a regular basis. What is hard for me is to understand why volume still matters when I am eating fruits and veggies only…but I am learning! I had the lesson of my life last month. Only fruits and veggies for 30 days, and I blew up 20lbs!

Confession – I had a bad week. Not even sure why. After day 3 of my bar challenge, I kept falling off plan. I could have given up. But instead, I adjusted my sails. Started back up the other day “Turn a setback into a comeback.”
