Bookclub meeting today. Dang it! They are meeting at a pub. Going to stick to diet sodas to get me through the evening. I am committed to eating bars only. My excuse for not eating will be “sorry, the doctor has me on a strict diet for some personal issues right now”

Yesterday was a perfect day I ate just Luna bars for Lunch and Dinner It wasn’t too difficult I did need the diet soda though to help with the hunger. Sleep was challenging…I couldn’t fall asleep until midnight, and woke at 4:30
Todays Weight: 162.5

I am not positive why there was a zero loss last week. I had 2 slip-ups where I ate more bites of my vegan meals, but nothing major…I should have had at least a few pounds lost. Breakfast – Coffee/vitamins
Lunch – 3 bites snickers, 2 bites of banana
Dinner – 5 Bites of an Avocado/Hummus Wrap
Wine – None

I messed up today, and caved to temptation. Ate about 1/2cup of extra food with dinner (we had dinner out).
So mad! I didn’t need it. Wasn’t even that hungry.

Lunch – 3 peanut butter crackers
Dinner – 5 bites of pita with hummus (threw the rest away! Woohoo)

Today is my weight tracking day. Only 2 pounds down.
But…as Dr. Lewis says above, I know where my trouble spots are now: coffee creamer, wine, diet soda, large bites, and occasional slips on extra bites. I think that I am also too susceptible to temptation at social gatherings.

I forgot to tell you…I hadn’t lost much weight going vegan/WFPB either. Felt amazing eating healthy, but depressed with the extra weight. I even tried the potato cleanse for a few weeks that you have talked about.

Yes!!! I am starting to approach this more day-by-day. My focus is now on getting through the current day being perfect. Rather than thinking about how long I have to keep being perfect at it. Thanks!!!! I am going to try some of these ideas out. Especially in the evening when I am tired, emotionally drained and feeling weak minded. My numbers for weight loss haven’t been great so far this week, and I know I am capable of doing so much better.

@spiderchlome – do have any favorite guided meditations that have been helpful in this journey? I have a few go-to meditations that I do regularly. But I would like something more specific to weight loss, or achieving goals.
