I think what it is, I know this is effective Bc I’ve had gastric bypass surgery. So I know it’s so effective that I prolong doing it bc I know how fast it works. It’s like analysis paralysis for me.

I have been on the forums for over a month and I have the hardest time starting! My timeline is July (for medical purposes). I’m 265 and my short term goal is 80 pounds and the idea of July is looking so lofty now. Anyone have any good advice for being in the right mind frame/set?

Hello I have a question for Dr. Lewis — since you’ve written the book is there anything you’d add or change?
Also I’d like to lose 75 pounds by mid June. I’m 255 now. Possible? Or too lofty?

Thank you for your response! Yes I have definitely stretched out my stomach but have found ways to eat around it! I think the 5 bites is exactly what I need right now. It takes exactly 5 bites for me to feel full without liquids. Question, if I want sugar free jello at night for something sweet, would that count as a bite?

I had gastric bypass surgery 20 years ago. I just found the 5 bite diet. Dr. Lewis, because I’m a gastric bypass patient, would anything be different for me regarding the diet? Am looking to lose 80 pounds by end of June (not sure if possible). Currently 260, 5’6″. Thanks for your help!
