    Just dealing with some family dramas. I think my mother is getting Dementia. but while they are away on holiday I thought I’d give it another go.

    My hunger stat has definitely been set lower and I have a changed attitude to food. But I really want to get loosing that 15 kg down to 70kg. So I’m in the right headspace now.

  • What I’ve noticed hovering at my current weight is all my skin has firmed up. So I’m looking forward to loose skin again in the next downhill push. I’m sticking to the bars so I dont stress about my bite size for a few days.

  • So its taken me a while to get me head in the game again. And I really need to focus after 3pm , take my 5 bites, then be done with it. I’m struggling a bit with my usual ice coffee. I prefer it with a dash of milk, so if I’m tempted to keep picking after 5pm, I’m going to make my iced coffee and sit down somewhere.

  • Had 2 perfect days and lost 2 pounds. I’m cut up some pizza and weighed it. My serving size was 80gm by eye, so I cut it down to 50gm. I sometimes have trouble with variation of bite sizes, but weighing is my insurance policy. Sticking to the bars at lunch.

    Just had a bad week the previous week, but this week, I’m just focusing in on my 5 bites then out of the kitchen. I don’t have to cook this week. So just heat and serve for the kids. Everyone is noticing my weight loss, but I have to keep focused on the next 10kg. Good luck, it works.

  • I didn’t loose too much this week. Fell off the wagon over the weekend. So back on the wagon this week. I felt like breaking out. Stress of the drought, had a few drinks. I have no tolerance to alcohol anymore. Trying not to overthink what I am doing and just get on with it. :oops:

  • LOL.  I agree. There’s no point in naming and shaming. There’s plenty of FA movement on the food channel. Overweight commentators digging into the supersizes. I would prefer to share with my less fortunate associates. I like the “normalize” observation. Media is so much about changing the perception and not the reality or the outcome.
