So, I’m down another 6 pounds again. Didn’t think I could keep this pace up, but so far, so good. I don’t want to be doing 5 bites forever, so I’m racing to the finish line. I’m looking forward to being slim this summer. Our summers are really hot, so I’m hoping to feel a lot more comfortable in the heat. I promise to post a before and after shot…[Read more]

HI Needing this,
So I’ve lost another 6 pounds. I really didn’t think I could keep up this pace, but keep thinking about the prize at the end of this race. I haven’t worn a light coloured swim suit in 23 years. Always black to hide the extra weight. I have picked out a swim suit I want to wear down at the pool, where the local pool manager tried…[Read more]

Day 35
08/18/18
Weighing in tomorrow. Super excited to see where i am at.
Lunch and dinner were just clif bars today.
I did a lot of hiking and swimming and it was a struggle, but not nearly to the extent that i expected. And i felt well enough after taking some breaks to keep going as if my energy levels were completely restored(which is…[Read more]

Welcome Rachel,
Wine has been one of my weaknesses. My partner is a wine executive and gets a huge wine allowance. So I have been giving it away. When I’m in maintenance, I’m saving it for social occasions only. I dropped a really expensive liquor in a fruit cake yesterday. It tasted great.

Stay off the scales if it’s making you overthink the plan. I was picking at the lasagna while cooking today, but I’m skipping my 5 bites in lieu, so should still be on track. I have to weigh in tomorrow, so I’m just following the plan today. I have gotten rid of anything I don’t like the taste of. It’s amazing how much food you buy because its…[Read more]

I haven’t lost weight as fast as you NeedingThis, but aiming for a perfect week and keeping consistency at 6 pounds a week. Fingers crossed. This is a lot easier than busting your but down at the gym and getting angry because you are not loosing weight. You can just get on with your life while loosing weight. Today I only ordered a chicken burger…[Read more]

I’ve noticed that fat has redistributed on me. I lost it all on my legs and arms and this morning I looked in the mirror and my stomach has shrunk. Hoping to loose 2 pounds before weigh in tomorrow. I’ll just be glad to be only able to pinch an inch on my stomach.

Try grabbing a tea or coffee after you have finished your five bites. It keeps your hands busy and stops you picking.

So people close to me have started to notice I’ve lost weight. I got “Gee, you’ve lost weight” from a friend and told them what I am doing. The husband who is a diabetic was a bit annoyed as he’s lost 10 kg over 12 weeks. So I just told him this is the hardcore, no BS diet. race till the finish line. And I’m not eating cardboard to get there. Deep…[Read more]

Went back to the bar on Friday as my kid ate McDonalds. Not tempted to pick. So off the challenge today Sat and stuck to 5 bites of a chicken burger. But looking to have a nice variety tonight. My 12 son is cooking.

I also love that expression!!! Chloe – you are working the plan to suit your life. Sometimes there are social situations that historically would have derailed us because we didn’t know how to deal with the social pressures or temptations. You are making this diet work for you. You are in control of your food decisions and behaviors.
Way to go!

I’ve spent the last 15 years eating and drinking whatever I want, because I spent a lot of time dieting and counting calories and knew I was missing out. Naturally, the weight came on. That fact that I don’t feel hunger 99% of the time and when I do, I know it will pass has given my to confidence to move forward. I don’t see myself actually going…[Read more]

I like that. I like taking my boat for a spin on the weekend. And I get plenty of physical activity working in my job. I’m not stressing about the exercise at all….for once.

Chloe. What is a scone in America? Is that self raising flour, butter and milk scone? When I was over there last, they called it a biscuit. A biscuit to us is a cookie.
I’m following the “store the food in my brothers belly”. There’s something to be said about indigenous tribes that have survived 50,000 years plus on the planet.

Lynda replied to the topic BAR CHALLENGE – 5 day in the forum The Slimming Station Diet 7 years, 2 months ago
I did break the bar challenge. I had 5 perfect bites of lasagna, but they where the correct amount, not too big. It would have been a bit strange eating a snickers when I had cooked up food for the workers and visitors at the lunch meeting. I had a snickers that night and doing the bars again today. But my hunger stat is definitely set at 5 bites.
