Yes it does.  I previously went from a size 24 to a size 8 but on a program that I just couldn’t sustain.  So I’ve been on the merry go round and it feels good to be off and doing something I’ll be able to maintain once done.

I got to wear a size 1x dress yesterday- down from a 3x!  I just ordered a size 18 dress to see if it will fit from size 24!

This is inspiration!  

Well I’m back. I totally fell off the wagon. I’m 191 and had lost 10. But I’m going to just kill it. No more sugary coffee drinks, etc. I have bars ready. I am going in a cruise on 8/23 so I have time to show myself I can do this

Just thinking this way changed my mentality.  Yes I gained 7 pounds but since I changed my mindset I’ve lost 9 lbs since this past Saturday.  I’m losing at a rate I wasn’t before.  I’m more conscious, I’m less whiny about it, I don’t wish I could finish the plate or eat more.  Because I AM doing what I wanted.

Inspiration!

I love this! I’m restarting today after gaining half back which is 5 lbs so far.

My plan for this week is to do a bar for lunch and dinner M-F this week except Thursday dinner as I have an event to attend. I will stick with only 5 bites at the event.

Hoping to be down 8 lbs by Saturday morning.

Consider asking for a small plate and a to-go box with your meal.  Scrape what you think is about 5 bites onto the smaller plate, put the remainder in the to go box and eat your five bites.  Your friends will be astonished at your willpower (at least mine are). I am doing 5 bites again strictly as I have been going way over board on the weekends. I need to learn how to just eat 5 bites when eating out. Eating out is the biggest obstacle for me.

I’ve found the scale can either encourage me or completely side track me. If I’ve lost weight I do better with my bites. If the scale shows no loss or a gain I feel like just giving up. I think the best thing for me is only weigh when I know I’ve had a perfect day before.

I love reading all the posts. I’m keeping up with everyone’s progress. It really does help to know we aren’t doing this alone. I’m in the wings cheering you all on.
