<p>I slept SO well and had a great day. I wasn&#8217;t really hungry today, so I feel like I&#8217;m doing this wrong LOL.</p>
<p>I had 2 bites of a nut bar as snacks in the early and later morning for snack. Yes &#8211; the leftovers from the bar I ate 2 days ago.</p>

<p>Work dragged on today since I was pretty (very) tired. Luckily I got to work on some interesting cases!</p>
<p>All went as planned for meals. Was able to sit outside for lunch and quickly have 5 bites of a Mexican-style chicken and avocado wrap. Packed up the rest and eventually had 5 more bites for dinner. 									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Sigh &#8211; I should have expected the insomnia. Every time I diet I have a hard time sleeping. I don’t have hunger pains, I’m just too mentally alert. No resting or digesting here! For now I will embrace the extra energy, knowing that it is temporary, and hope that I can get some extra work done.</p>

<p>I had 5 bites of salmon for lunch. It was baked in a very sweet and crisp glaze. Then I went on a hike to see a waterfall. I made sure to stay very hydrated and had plenty of energy! We are preparing for a hiking trip in the Amazon this October.</p>

									<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>This is going to be my 5-bite diet journal. I like small goals, and my goal is to do this diet for 4 weeks! Only 28 days. 336 bites. Not so bad.</p>
<p>And there is no better day to start than today!</p>
<p>I used one of my snack bites for breakfast. A pineapple Lara bar. It was dense and mildly sweet.  I enjoyed the chewy texture.</p>
