I had never heard of Dr. Gelber’s prospective BMI study until Dr. Lewis referenced it. I’ve been told all my life that all health risks are minimal in the “healthy” BMI range. What sorts of risks are associated with the upper tail of the healthy BMI range?

This was said to me by a 78 year old today and it startled me into committing to this 5BD wholly. I don’t want to spend another year “trying” to lose weight, for what? To be in the exact same place a year from now? Ten years from now? Life is so, so short not to be living at the very best you can be.

I’ve done 3 perfect days of Snickers x 2, only black coffee, water and tea; I feel great and the hunger is fine!

I want to try real food tomorrow, but I’m so nervous about accidentally increasing my hungerstat, because it’s perfect right now. If I just plan to take 4 bites of food to be safe, will it make me ravenous later?

Good morning!

I am a 35 year old woman living in Southern California; I am 5’4″ and 134 lbs. I’ve lost weight (twice) reading 5BD. It makes perfect sense to me and I feel great doing it.
